On 22/04/15 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on C22 at Mosshouse Bridge (between Riverside Gardens and Mosshouse), Cronberry near Lugar (except vehicles engaged on the Mosshouse Bridge repair works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 04/05/15 until 24:00 hrs on 05/06/15, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
The works are weather dependent but it is anticipated that the works will take three days to complete.
Emergency and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
Alternative Route: via A70, C23 and U730 and vice versa.
