On 14/01/15 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by Notice which would have expired at 24:00 hrs on 16/01/15, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on Church Street (from Aitken St to the end of the no through road), Kilmarnock (except vehicles engaged on the housing development works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 24:00 hrs on 16/01/15 until 24:00 hrs on 05/04/15, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
