On 26/11/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order that continues the restrictions imposed by East Ayrshire Council (Barskimming Old Bridge, C3 Barskimming Road, Mauchline) (Temporary Closure) Order 2014 which expires at 24:00 hrs on 30/11/14. The Orders make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on C3 Barskimming Rd, (30m either side of Barskimming Old Bridge), Mauchline (except vehicles or pedestrians engaged on the bridge works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
This Order is in force from 24:00 hrs on 30/11/14 until 24:00 hrs on 28/02/15, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via C3 & B743 to Mauchline, A76 to Auchinleck, Pennylands Rd, B7036 to Ochiltree and C49 to Mauchline and vice versa.
