On 19/08/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on C3 Barskimming Rd, (30m either side of Barskimming Old Bridge), Mauchline (except vehicles or pedestrians engaged on the bridge works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 01/09/14 until 24:00 hrs on 30/11/14, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
Pedestrian access will only be permitted when it is safe to do so.
Alternative Route: via C3 & B743 to Mauchline, A76 to Auchinleck, Pennylands Rd, B7036 to Ochiltree and C49 to Mauchline and vice versa.
