On 22/07/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle (except vehicles engaged in “Kay Park Play Day 2014”) on Kay Park Crescent (from Strawberrybank Rd to Kay Park Crescent access road that comes from Grassyards Rd) or for any vehicle to wait at any time on Strawberrybank Rd ( at South Dean Rd) to Grassyards Rd and South Dean Rd (from Strawberrybank Rd to No 16A South Dean Rd and Grassyards Rd either side of round-a-bout), Kilmarnock, for the reason of maintaining road safety during the holding of the Play Day 2014 event in the Kay Park.
The Order will come into operation at 07:00 hrs until 16:00 hrs on 06/08/14, and will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Alternative Route: via Grassyards Rd and Strawberrybank Road, Kilmarnock and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
