On 14/07/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on the roads stated below. The length of road affected is a maximum of 50m either side of each bridge. The closures are required to facilitate bridge works.
The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 21/07/14 until 24:00 hrs on 21/11/14 and will only be implemented when appropriate signs are displayed.
The anticipated duration of each bridge closure is weather dependent. All bridge closures in Galston will be implemented one at a time.
