T/8/9/JD14/ARA-EAC Order No. 12 - East Ayrshire Archived

On 15/04/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

This Order makes it unlawful-

1. for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle (except McTaggart Construction’s vehicles) between 08:00 hrs–18:00 hrson Robertland Rigg, Stewarton (from Old Mill View to Meikle Court Car Park) starting 08:00 hrs on 28/04/14 until 18:00 hrs on 31/08/14. Diversion via Riverside Rd, Gameshill View and Netherland Rd, Stewarton.

2. for any vehicle to wait on Elmbank Dr, Kilmarnock (outside McTaggart Construction’s site) starting 00:01 hrs on 19/04/14 until 24:00 hrs on 31/12/14; or between 08:00 hrs-17:00 hrs on Holehouse Rd, Kilmarnock (phased work from Wilson Av to Walker Av) starting 08:00 hrs on 28/04/14 until 17:00 hrs on 08/06/14.

The Order will be in operation from 00:01 hrs on 19/04/14 until 24:00 hrs on 31/12/14 and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.
