On 04/03/14 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle or for any person to travel on Chapel Lane (from A719 Brewland St to the boundary of 24 & 26 Orchard St which is near the access road to Manse Place), Galston (except vehicles or persons engaged in Central Building Contractors works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.
The Order is in force from 08:00 hrs on 10/03/14 until 08:00 hrs on 15/06/15, or until the building works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.
The road may be closed in phases as the works progress.
