On 17/02/14 East Ayrshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to cause or permit any vehicle to wait (except for vehicles engaged in the works re-lining the waiting restrictions or maintaining the temporary no waiting signs/bollards) on Lindsay St, Morton Pl, Woodstock St and Woodstock Pl,Kilmarnock, by reason of works re-lining the waiting restrictions and to promote the safe passage of traffic on these roads.

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 24/02/14 until 24:00 hrs on 30/05/14, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier.

The Order will be implemented only when appropriate no waiting signs/bollards are displayed and may be executed in sections as the works progress. Completion of the works will be hindered by inclement weather.
