Perth and Kinross Council (King Edward Street and St John's Place & St Paul's Square, Perth) (Markets, Events and Street Party) (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2012


On 2 May 2012 Perth and Kinross Council made Orders under Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984.The Orders are expected to be in force for the purpose of permitting Markets, Events and a Street Party on the following dates: (a) Jubilee Street Party, Saturday 2 June 2012 (10am-5pm) (b&c) Gardeners & Countryside Market - Saturday 12 May 2012 (9am-5pm) (b&c) Volunteers Market - Saturday 9 June 2012 (10am-3pm) (b&c) Green Fair, Saturday 30 June 2012 (9am-2pm) (b&c) Summer Craft Market - Saturday 14 July 2012 (9am-5pm) (b&c) Rotary Fair - Saturday 25 August 2012 (10am-3pm) (b&c) Christmas Craft Market – Saturday 24 November 2012 (9am-5pm) The effect of the Orders is to prohibit temporarily all vehicular traffic on (a) St Pauls Square, Perth (b) King Edward Street from its junction with High Street to its junction with South St Johns Place and (c) St Johns Place from its junction with Kirkside to its junction with King Edward Street. Pedestrian thoroughfare will be maintained. Alternative routes are available via:- (a) South Methven Street – North Methven Street – Atholl Street – Caledonian Road – High Street and (b & c) Kirkside - South St Johns Place - King Edward Street.
